Amazon is eying to release the controversial ‘Chicago-Iraq’ movie in December for a qualifying run ahead of awards season.
Amazon is pushing “Chiraq” for awards season. The movie was initially planned to premiere at 2016 Cannes Film Festival but the studio is now hoping to debut the Spike Lee-directed film in December in order to qualify for awards like Oscars.
